Home Repair Program
The Home Repair Program will cover the cost for most exterior housing concerns, up to $5,000.00, necessary to make an owner occupied unit meet public standards for safe, decent and sanitary housing as required by the 2018 International Property Maintenance Code. Allowable costs include, but are not limited to HVAC, roof, windows, doors, etc. Homeowners must meet the income guidelines in order to qualify. Please see "Income Limits" section.
Costs not allowable include:
- Driveways
- Mowing/weeding
- Acquisition of land
- Sidewalk repairs
- Junk removal
- Towing vehicles
- Materials, fixtures, equipment, or landscaping of a type or quality which exceeds that customarily used in the locality for properties of the same general type as the property to be rehabilitated.

Program Overview
To be eligible for the program the applicant must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Household income cannot exceed 80% of area median income
- Property must be within Moore city limits
- Property must be owner occupied
- Applicant must have lived in the home for at least one year
- Applicant must have a State of Oklahoma issued ID
The funding provided will be in a the form of a forgivable loan. If the applicant sells, transfers, deeds, or otherwise conveys the property within four years after the rehabilitation project contract signing, they will be obligated to repay the City of Moore at a prorated amount.
Income Limits
The income limits chart determines eligibility based on family size and maximum income thresholds. To qualify for our program, your household income must be at or below the specified limits corresponding to your family size. Please refer to the chart to find the income threshold that applies to your household size.

Application
Along with your completed application, please provide the necessary documents or items required for your application review. Submit only the documents relevant to your household. Documents include:

Government-Issued ID - Provide a valid identification issued by the government.

Proof of Ownership - A copy of the deed or title abstract prepared by a licensed title company within the past six (6) months.

Federal Tax Return - Most recent federal tax return, including all schedules and attachments.

Income Statements - Past two (2) months of Income Statements from stocks, bonds, royalties, certificates of deposit, money market funds, and other income-generating investments.

Household Employment Payroll - Past two (2) months of payroll stubs for all employed household members including the applicant and joint applicant who are employed.

Bank Statements - Three (3) most recent months of checking and/or savings account statements.

Mortgage Payment History - Current pay history from the mortgage company including the original amount, current balance, monthly payment, and escrow payment.

Home Insurance Policy - Documentation showing your current home insurance coverage.

Real Estate Income - Information on real estate or property from which you collect income or in which you have an ownership interest.

Income Assistance Statements - Provide letters or statements for all household members receiving Social Security, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, VA benefits, pensions, child support, alimony, interest income, or other sources.

Divorce Decrees - If applicable.

Death Certificate - Required if the deceased spouse's name is on the deed or title of the home.
